MANILA, Philippines – Awards season is well under way, and the British Academy of Film and Television Arts awards released their list of nominees on Friday, January 8.
The awards will be held on February 14 at the Royal Opera House in London. It will be hosted by Stephen Fry.
Among the top to receive nominations this year are Bridge of Spies and Carol with 9 nominations each, followed by The Revenant with 8. Brooklyn, The Martian, The Big Short, The Danish Girl, Ex Machina, and Star Wars: The Force Awakens are also in the lead.
