WATCH: Foo Fighters fulfill promise to fans with concert at Cesena, Italy

MANILA, Philippines – The Foo Fighters have finally performed in Cesena, Italy!

In July, 1000 musicians played the Foo Fighters' "Learn to Fly" in order to get the band's attention and convince them to play in their city. The effort was called Rockin'1000, and was created because the Foo Fighters haven't played in Cesena since 1997. 

Soon after, the Foo Fighters' frontman Dave Grohl responded to the video, promising to meet them soon. 

On November 3, Dave and the band were true to their promise. The band played at Carisport that night, and thanked the musicians from Rockin 1000 and the people who made it to their concert.

“To see you people, singing our song for the whole f-cking world, to me, it’s the greatest moment of my life... I hope you do the same thing for U2, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Rage Against the Machine, do it for all rock bands," Dave told the crowd.

They even invited one of the drummers (Dave simply referred to him as the 'mohawk guy') from Rockin 1000 to play "Under Pressure" with them onstage.
