MANILA, Philippines – In the middle of the action-packed 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, a new thrilling adventure awaits Moana and Maui in the upcoming Disney film, Moana. A new TV spot has dropped in the middle of all the action, which is also due to air during NBC's coverage of the games.
Moana (Auli’i Cravalho) dares the mighty demi-god Maui to come with her on an adventure.
"I'm not going on a mission with some kid," said Maui, brushing Moana off.
But Moana has something up her sleeves, and manages to sway Maui by saying that he'll be a hero. "That's what you're all about," she says, as they embark on an adventure filled with dangers and thrills they would've never imagined.
Moana, which will be released on November 23 in the US, is directed by Ron Clements and John Musker.
