MANILA, Philippines – Get ready, '90s kids! Nickelodeon is set to revive its classic shows Legends of the Hidden Temple and Hey Arnold as TV movies
According to Variety, the live action Legends of the Hidden Temple movie, based on the popular '90s game show of the same name, will follow 3 siblings as they try to overcome obstacles in order to stay alive.
The movie, to be released in late 2016, will also feature Olmec, the original gameshow's talking head, the Steps of Knowledge, which were the temple's entrance, and the colored animals that were the team's names – Green Monkeys, Red Jaguars, Blue Barracudas, Purple Parrots, Orange Iguanas, and Silver Snakes.
The Legends of the Hidden Temple movie will star Isabela Moner from the Nickelodeon show 100 Things to Do Before High School. It will be directed by Joe Menendez.

Meanwhile, Variety reports that a Hey Arnold! TV movie is in the works. Their newest update about Hey Arnold! says that it will be a 2-part movie to be released in 2017.
Hey Arnold!, which followed everyone's favorite "football head," is another of the channel's '90s TV series.
The TV movies will continue where the series left off and will answer the question of Arnold's missing parents. In the series, Arnold lived with his grandparents in a boarding house.

The channel is also set to release a NickToons movie, according to Deadline.NickToons will feature many of Nickelodeon's iconic characters from the past 25 years, including Rugrats, Ren & Stimpy, Rocko’s Modern Life, Aaahh! Real Monsters, and The Angry Beavers.
