MANILA, Philippines – Amid the fight to investigate Honor Thy Father's Best Picture category disqualification, singer Armi Millare and Honor Thy Father's co-producer and star John Lloyd Cruz share a quiet moment, doing a cover of Samapguita's "Tao."
In the video posted on Armi's Facebook page late Monday, December 28, the two are sitting on a couch as Armi sings and John Lloyd accompanies her on guitar.
In the video's caption, Armi invites viewers of the video to watch Honor Thy Father in cinemas: "A little something from the #honorthyfather family. Sa mga hindi pa nanonood (To those of you who haven't seen it yet), do it tomorrow! Haha. Enjoy!"

Honor Thy Father is the subject of controversy at the MMFF this year because a day before the awards night, the movie was disqualified from the Best Picture category of the festival.
The festival's executive committee cited non-disclosure as the reason behind the disqualification, as the committee says they weren't informed that the movie would screen at a different festival before the MMFF.
