MANILA, Philippines – Pia Wurtzbach continues to earn the admiration and support of many after winning Miss Universe 2015. On December 23, Disney artist Jimmy Mulligan paid tribute to the Filipino beauty queen by posting a sketch of her as a Disney princess.

The drawing has garnered more than 6,000 likes as of Sunday, December 27.
According to his biography on the Disney Fine Arts website, Jimmy is an Irish-American artist and director known for paintng celebrity fine art and commercial murals. He is currently based in California.
Pia won the title on Sunday, December 20 at the Axis in Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas, beating 79 women from around the world. However, host Steve Harvey made the mistake of announcing Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez as the winner, before she was eventually crowned.
Following her win, Pia posted a message to her supporters and Ariadna on the Miss Universe Facebook page. "Fate has a plan for you, and I’m excited to see what’s ahead," Pia wrote to Ariadna. (READ: Pia Wurtzbach to Miss Colombia: Fate has a plan for you)
Pia's win makes her the third Filipino to win the title after Gloria Diaz who won the title in 1969 and Margarita Moran in 1973. Pia is currently in New York, where she will be based during her reign. – Rappler.com
