MANILA, Philippines – If you think you've seen the last of Pennywise the Clown, think again – It's sequel is set to be released in 2019.
According to The Hollywood Reporter(THR), the It sequel will be in US cinemas on September 6, 2019.
The movie will follow The Loser's Club 27 years after the events of the first movie. Like the 2017 film, the It sequel is based on a novel by Stephen King.
It earned $478.1 million worldwide, making it the highest grossing horror film of all time.
It screenwriter Gary Dauberman, director Andy Muschietti, and producers Barbara Muschietti, Roy Lee, Dan Lin, Seth Grahame-Smith, and David Katzenberg, are expected to work on the sequel, according to THR.– Rappler.com
