MANILA, Philippines – A new Selena Gomez track is out! Selena released her new song "Bad Liar" on Thursday, May 18.
According to Rolling Stone, "Bad Liar" was written with Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter, who also worked with Selena on "Hands to Myself" and "Good for You."
It samples the bassline from the Talking Heads song "Psycho Killer."
Justin told Variety: “Selena and Julia are Talking Heads-obsessed. So when we all got together in one room, Julia suggested, ‘Why don’t we just write over the bassline from ‘Psycho Killer?’ and we were all going, ‘That sounds great!’”
Clips of the music video can be seen on Selena's Instagram, but the full video can only be watched on Spotify for now.
