MANILA, Philippines – The annual Rakrakan Festival is coming up in January, and they have 100 acts lined up for the one day event! It's going to be an incredible day for music fans everywhere. Here are more details about the event:
Rakarakan Festival 2017 has been rebranded to "Rakrakan: OPM Against Drugs Festival" and will take place on January 14, 2017.
The festival is set to feature artists like Ebe Dancel, SUD, Gracenote, Chicosci, Pedicab, Bullet Dumas, Moonstar88, Imago, Pupil, Barbie Almalbis, Slapshock, and many more.
Rakrakan will be held at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds where 5 stages will be set up: Indie, Move, Mosh, Slam, and Groove.

Aside from the concerts going on simultaneously on all 5 stages, there will also be pocket events like the Skateboarding Exhibition and Competition, a Street Art Contest, and a Merch Exhibit.
There will also be "OPM Against Drugs" efforts, done in cooperation with the Pasay City Anti-Drug Abuse Council and Dangerous Drugs Board to educate the youth on substance abuse.
