Ryan Reynolds became the subject of memes after a photo of him with wife Blake Lively sitting out on a porch was posted on social media. Beside them were then-couple Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston and Taylor's friends Britany and Ben LaManna.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, released on December 9, Ryan was asked if he was really upset at the time. Ryan answered no, and explained that he didn't know that his photo was being taken.
"If I’m not aware a photo is being taken, my natural resting face is one of a man dying. I had no idea somebody was taking a photo," said Ryan. "Therefore I was resting comfortably in my persona of a man whose soul is visibly exiting this earth."
Since the photo was taken, Blake has given birth to her and Ryan's second daughter, and Taylor and Tom have broken up.– Rappler.com
