LOOK: JK Simmons as Commissioner Gordon in 'Justice League'

MANILA, Philippines – In celebration of Batman Day, director Zack Synder gave a sneak peek of Oscar winner JK Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, who will appear in the upcoming Justice Leaguemovie.

On Twitter, the director showed a black and white photo of the Whiplash actor standing next to the Bat-Signal.

JK Simmons' participation on the movie was announced early this year. The actor won for his role as Terrence Fletcher in Whiplash in last year's Academey Awards.
