MANILA, Philippines – Noel Cabangon is dropping by for Rappler Live Jam!
The award-winning musician learned to play guitar at the age of 10, according to his Elements bio, and he hasn't looked back since. Known for songs like "Kanlungan," "Kahit Maputi Na Ang Buhok Ko," and "Tatsulok," he has released a number of albums including Byahe, Pasakalye, H’wag Mangamba, Medjas, and Noël, a Christmas album.
Over the years, he has put on many other hats, known also for his work with the Filipino Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (FILSCAP), and Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA). All this while continuing to create socially relevant music that tackles and reflects on issues faced by Filipinos today.
Now, Noel is set to perform his songs once more in a concert called Traffic Jam scheduled this September and October at the Music Museum and PETA Theater Center.
