MANILA, Philippines – Pop star Beyonce wowed the audience at the MTV Video Music Awards 2016 on Sunday, August 28 (Monday, August 29, Manila time).
Backed up by her dancers on stage, Beyonce performed some of her songs from the album Lemonade including "Formation."
Beyonce, who is up for 11 awards this year, has also invited the mothers of slain African American men to the awards, where her politically charged "Formation" is up for the top prize. She walked with them on the red carpet.
