During the grand press conference on Sunday, August 28, at Le Reve Events in Quezon City, James and Nadine said they made sure that their characters – Basti and Iris – are different from Clark and Leah.
"Mas gusto ko 'yung character dito," James said of Basti. "Mas challenging 'yung character niya dito. Si Clark sa On The Wings of Love, masyado siyang perfect. I had a lot more fun with Basti."
(I really like my character on this show. My character, Basti, is more challenging. Clark in On The Wings of Love was so perfect. I had a lot more fun with Basti.)
Nadine meanwhile said: "Sa akin naman po same, halos same si Leah and si Iris, but nandiyan naman si Direk Tonette para tulungan po ako, so along the way, mag-iisip po kami ng mga bago kung paano magsalita si Iris para maiba po namin. And dito kasi mas magiging mature po."
(For me, it's almost the same with Leah and Iris but Direk Tonette is there to help me, so along the way, we're thinking of new ways like how Iris will speak so it will be different. And on this show, my character is much more mature.)
Till I Met You also introduces newcomer JC Santos, who plays Ali, Iris's childhood friend.
Shot in 3 locations in Greece – Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini – Till I Met You tells the story of Iris (Nadine) who wants to give her family a better life. She grows up with Ali (JC) and the two of them fall for each other. They then head for Greece, where they develop a friendship with Basti.
But the friendship is tested when Basti starts to fall in love with Iris. What will matter to them the most: love or friendship?
Till I Met You also stars husband and wife Zoren Legaspi and Carmina Villaroel, Angel Aquino, Pokwang, Robert Seña, and Kim Molina. Richard Yap and Jay Manalo also appear in special roles.
