MANILA, Philippines – Tom Hiddleston posted his first-ever Instagram photo on Tuesday, August 9, and his Avengers co-star Robert Downey Jr was quick to welcome him to the social media platform.
RDJ posted a photo of Tom at the beach wearing a tank top that read "I love TS." Tom is currently dating pop star Taylor Swift, and the photo was from her 4th of July celebrations with her friends.
Of course, Robert couldn't help but poke some good-natured fun at those initials.
"Join me in welcoming the biggest T. Stark fan of them all to Instagram!" wrote Robert, who plays Tony Stark (aka Iron Man) on The Avengers, while Tom plays Loki.

Tom and Taylor's relationship has been controversial since it became public in June.
Weeks after Taylor broke up with her former boyfriend Calvin Harris, photos of her and Tom kissing at the beach were released.
After their breakup, Calvin had tweeted that he and Taylor were on good terms, but the former couple unfollowed each other on Twitter after the photos surfaced.
