MANILA, Philippines – Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is wrapping up filming for Fast 8, and while he's happy with the production, he isn't too pleased with some of his male co-stars. (READ: 'Fast and Furious 8' set for 2017 release)
On Tuesday, August 9, Dwayne posted a clip of the movie on Instagram along with a note explaining that while Universal Pictures and his female co-stars were great, some of the male actors weren't professional.
"This is my final week of shooting [Fast and Furious 8]. There's no other franchise that gets my blood boiling more than this one. An incredible hard working crew. [Universal] has been great partners as well. My female co-stars are always amazing and I love 'em.
"My male co-stars however are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don't. The ones that don't are too chicken sh-t to do anything about it anyway. Candy -sses," wrote Dwayne, who joined The Fast and The Furious movies in 2011 for Fast 5.
He added, "When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I'm not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling – you're right."
He didn't name anyone specifically. Dwayne's male co-stars in the movie include Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Lucas Black, Jason Statham, and Kurt Russell.
"Bottom line is, it'll play great for the movie and fits this Hobbs character that's embedded in my DNA extremely well. The producer in me is happy about this part. Final week on [Fast 8] and I'll finish strong," Dwayne ended his post.
The actor also hashtagged "#ZeroToleranceForCandyAsses" at the end of the Instagram caption.
