MANILA, Philippines – Former senatorial candidate Mark Lapid and his wife, actress Tanya Garcia, welcomed a baby girl – named Madeleine – on Monday, August 8.
Mark posted a photo of his newborn daughter.
"Thank you very much Lord for a successful operation of my wife and thank you for giving me another angel... Madeleine!!” he wrote.

Madeleine is the couple’s third daughter. She joins sisters Mischa Amidala, 9, and Matilda Anika, 5.
Mark, a former Pampanga governor, ran for senator under the Liberal Party in the recent elections but did not win.
