MANILA, Philippines – Maine Mendoza thanked screen partner Alden Richards Saturday, July 16, as the two marked their first year anniversary as a tandem on Eat Bulaga.
On Instagram, Maine posted her message accompanied by their photo taken in Italy during the shooting of the movie, Imagine You & Me.
"Meeting you was fate; it was wonderful, it was miraculous, it was extraordinary and indeed sweet serendipity. For some, it was nothing but luck and plain coincidence; but for me it was something revelatory about the notion that miracles like this do exist. God made our story extra special; He let everybody witness every single thing from the very beginning. It was something unexplainable.

What happened on the 16th day of July 2015 will live on in people's hearts until the end of time. As part of their first year anniversary, American singer Bryan White came back to Manila to perform the song, "God Game You," the theme song of AlDub.

Formed last year during the segment ofJuan For All, All For Juan on Eat Bulaga, Alden and Maine, aka Yaya Dub, became the talk of everyone on television, online, and social media.
