MANILA, Philippines – More than 2 weeks have passed since the deadly, tragic shooting at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida. In a moving tribute from the Human Rights Campaign, which features 49 stars, the memories and stories of the victims live on.

"It's on all of us to keep their memories alive, and to ensure part of their legacy becomes meaningful action to end hate violence," read the YouTube caption.

The stars who told their stories include Lady Gaga, Chris Pine, Matt Bomer, Sofia Vergara, Lea Michele, Colton Haynes, Evan Peters, Gerard Butler, Demi Lovato, and more.

The 18-minute tribute was co-directed by Ryan Murphy and Ned Martel.

"The hate that stole these 49 individuals from all those who loved them has been allowed to flourish in our country for too long," Ryan said in a statement quoted by Entertainment Weekly.

"No person is born hating another, and we have an obligation as Americans to stand up against prejudice and bigotry that would incite violence against someone simply for who they are. I am proud to have joined with Ned Martel, my talented colleagues, and the Human Rights Campaign to honor these 49 heroes and stop the hate." – Rappler.com
