FHM conducted its public poll from April 1 to June 15.
Jessy, 23, has starred in many popular television shows such as ABS-CBN's Maria Mercedes. Last year, she only landed in 23rd place.

In a video posted on ABS-CBN News, people from the magazine conveyed the news to her, and upon learning about winning the title, she was visibly shocked.
"I’m overwhelmed. It's a nice venue to send the message that everyone is sexy and if I can win this, if I'm hailed as the sexiest of FHM,lahat tayo puwedeng maging ganun," she said in the video.
"What's important is loving yourself, being healthy, and being the better version of yourself. So I guess kaya itong nangyari kasi I am on that journey, nasa journey ako of being better for myself."

In her FHM profile, the magazine hailed the actress for proving "that being sexy is beyond physical."
The magazine quoted one of the notes she wrote on Instagram:
