The Smashing Pumpkins concert in Manila: Ticket prices, seat plan

MANILA, Philippines – American rock band The Smashing Pumpkins are making their way back to Manila for the first time in 13 years for their “Rock Invasion 2025” concert!

The one-night show will be held at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on September 29.

Ticket prices are as follows:

  • VIP A (Standing) – P8,800; with official poster, souvenir ID, lanyard, and priority entry
  • Patron (Seated) – P8,800
  • VIP B (Standing) – P7,700
  • Lower Box Premium – P8,200
  • Box A – P6,000
  • Box B – P4,000
  • General Admission – P1,800

Tickets will go on sale via TicketNet. The presale will happen on May 31, from 10 am to 10 pm, via TicketNet’s website only, will the general sale will be on June 1 from 12 pm onwards, through both TicketNet’s physical outlets and website.

On the day of the concert, doors will open at 6 pm, and the show will start at 8 pm.

The Smashing Pumpkins were last in Manila in August 2012, when they fought to stage a concert for Filipino fans despite the heavy rains.

Formed in 1988, The Smashing Pumpkins are an award-winning band known for hits like “1979,” “Bullet with Butterfly Wings,” “Today,” and “Disarm,” among many others. Their latest drop is the single “Who Goes There,” which was released in November 2024.

Its founding members are Billy Corgan, James Iha, Jimmy Chamberlin, and D’Arcy Wretzky, though the latter left the band in 1999.

At the upcoming Manila show, Corgan, Iha, and Chamberlin will all be present.

The Smashing Pumpkins will also be making stops across Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, and Bahrain. – Rappler.com
