Starring multi-awarded actor John Arcilla, Heneral Luna tells the story of General Antonio Luna, known as one of the country's best military tactician. Luna wants to protect Philippine independence from the United States, which has trained its sights on the country for colonization, but others don't agree. The movie shows Luna's battles not only on the field but also against the Filipinos who betrayed him.
The movie was recently chosen as the Philippine entry to the 2016 Oscars. – Rappler.com
