MANILA, Philippines – A day before the nation votes for its next set of leaders, celebrities took time to pay tribute to truly special women in their lives – their mothers. (READ: 23 PH celebrities: The best advice mom ever gave me)

From the day they were born until they became stars, their mothers have been their cheerleaders. When they need a shoulder to cry on, they can trust that their moms will be there.
