MANILA, Philippines – It's less than a week before Game of Thrones season 6 premieres on HBO (April 25 in Asia), and one last promo video to stoke the excitement has been released.
It seems similar to the previous trailer. However, as the clips flash in rapid succession, if you blink, you might miss what's going on.
In a voiceover line that's more sinister than "Winter is coming" or "Valar morghulis," Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) says, "Wherever you are, wherever you go, someone wants to murder you."
The once proud queen of Meereen, Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), is whipped by a Dothraki man as she walks with a vast khalasar to Vaes Dothrak.
The Wildlings – with Tormund Giantsbane (Kristofer Hivju) in the front – face a phalanx of soldiers sworn to House Bolton, which currently lords over Winterfell and thus, the North.
Of course, as they always say, "Winter is coming," and the Night's King's presence in the promo is still frightening.
