MANILA, Philippines – Their rivalry might not have been real, but it was still surprising to watch two *NSYNC members singing a Backstreet Boys song.
*NSYNC's Lance Bass and Joey Fatone rocked out to the Backstreet Boys' hit song, " I Want It That Way" at karaoke night on the Dirty Pop at Sea Cruise, according to the video's uploader.
The video above starts out with Joey singing the first few bars of the song, and Lance complaning about how high the song is.
But soon, Joey gets him to start singing too, with a quick, "Shut up and sing it." Lance launches into the familiar first verse then, with "But we are two worlds apart," complete with impassioned hand gestures.
There wasn't any choreographed dancing, but the two former boyband members did have some fun and moved around the stage throughout the whole song.
In another video, you can catch Lance and Joey's introduction before they perform. "You know sometimes I dream about being in this band," joked Lance, "And then I wake up and realize I'm in this band," he said, gesturing to Joey.
