MANILA, Philippines – After celebrating her 21st birthday last March 5 in Eat Bulaga, Kalyeserye's Maine Mendoza and the people behind the segment took a trip to Boracay to relax.
In a video uploaded on Thursday, March 24, Maine and the Kalyeserye crew were seen arriving at the island. Maine was greeted with free drinks by the staff of the hotel where they stayed. Her room even had chocolates and pillows embroidered with her name.
The following day, she was surprised to see Alden Richards join them and the two went island hopping, including a visit to Puka Beach.
The two also did parasailing, where at one point, Alden joked that he almost dropped the phone he was holding.
On the beach, Maine also showed her dancing skills, and the whole group ended their adventure with dinner – with fire dancers and fireworks to boot.
Prior to her Boracay trip and Eat Bulaga birthday special, Maine's fans also threw her a Coachella-themed party.
The Boracay trip is the latest video of Maine and Alden together. Last February, Maine also shared a video of their roadtrip in Tagaytay, where they filmed the Valentine's special for the show. – Rappler.com
