The upbeat "Like I Would" is the 3rd song we've heard from Mind of Mine since "Pillowtalk" and "iT's YoU."

"Like I Would" was announced on Twitter, with Zayn promising the song at 6 pm EST a day before it was released.

The cover was criticized when it was first released, for being similar to Lil Wayne's 2008 album Tha Carter III.
However, Zayn defended himself on Twitter, saying that he's had his ideas for a long time, adding, "Use your brain, appreciate art don't discriminate what you don't understand."

Mind of Mine is the singer's first album since leaving One Direction in 2015, saying he wanted to be out of the spotlight. (READ: One Direction members speak up about Zayn Malik's departure)
In a 2016 interview, Zayn explained further that he and the One Direction boys had creative differences.

Mind of Mine is set to be released on March 25.
