MANILA, Philippines – Lav Diaz’s movie Hele Sa Hiwagang Hapis (A Lullaby to the Sorrowful Mystery) will be shown in Philippine cinemas starting March 26.

The news was confirmed on Instagram by Star Cinema, Wednesday, March 9.

The movie stars Piolo Pascual and John Lloyd Cruz, who play the characters of Crisostomo Ibarra and Isagani from Jose Rizal’s Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo, respectively. (READ: Piolo Pascual talks about making 8-hour film with Lav Diaz, John Lloyd Cruz)
