MANILA, Philippines – As we nervously wait for the sixth season of Game of Thrones to air, we finally get a glimpse at what’s in store.
Beginning with a somber tune by James Vincent McMorrow, “Wicked Game,” the new red band trailer is jampacked with images and sound bites that keep us on the edge of our seat.
We see a deposed Daenerys Targaryen, a vengeful Jaime and Cersei Lannister, Bran Stark and the Night’s King, and Jon Snow splayed out on the ground – juxtaposed with a shot of Melisandre.
"You’re in the great game now, and the great game is terrifying," says Tyrion, and indeed, that is the case for most of us.
