On-screen Spider-Man lovers actor Tom Holland and actress Zendaya have finally taken their romance off-screen, as the pair was spotted sharing a romantic kiss in public, fueling long-time dating rumors.
Photos shared by Page Six show the couple sharing a passionate kiss, as well as smiles and laughs inside Tom’s sports car in Los Angeles on Friday, July 2.
According to US media, the kiss reportedly confirms Zendaya and Tom’s romantic relationship, the subject of speculation among fans since 2017, after the first Spider-Man: Homecoming film. Both stars have denied the rumors in interviews, saying that they were “just friends.”
According to PEOPLE Magazine, a source said that the two were already dating while filming Spider-Man: No Way Home, but they’ve been “super careful to keep it private and out of the public eye.” However, they’ve gone “on vacations with each other and try and spend as much time as possible with one another.”
“They’re both really ambitious and they challenge each other – but, most importantly, they make each other crack up. They seem to have a really similar sense of humor and love joking around together. They have great banter back and forth,” the source added.
E! News also confirmed that they “got to know each other while on set,” and that “they became friends and started getting romantic a few months ago.”
“They both are such great people. It’s cool they got together. Everyone gets along with them,” said E! News’ source.
Zendaya and Tom recently finished filming for the third sequel, Spider-Man: No Way Home, which is set to premiere late 2021. – Rappler.com
