Hit teen series Never Have I Ever is all set to return for a second season, which by the looks of it will be just as fun as the first.
Season 2 is expected to pick-up where the story left off: hot-headed heroine Devi is now caught between two potential romances – while also dealing with the pressures of life as an Indian-American teenage girl.

Breakout star Maitreyi Ramakrishnan is returning to her role as Devi Vishwakumar, along with Ramona Young and Lee Rodriguez who play Devi’s best friends Eleanor Wong and Fabiola Torres.

Poorna Jagannathan will be back to play Devi’s strict but loving mom Nalini, as well as Richa Moorjani playing Devi’s cousin Kamala.

Jaren Lewison and Darren Barnet will also be returning as Devi’s romantic interests, Ben Gross and Paxton Hall-Yoshida.

The upcoming season also sees introduction of new characters. Common will be joining the cast as a recurring guest star, playing Dr. Chris Jackson, a debonair dermatologist working in the same building as Nalini. Meanwhile, Megan Suri will be playing Aneesa, a new Indian student at Devi’s school, whose confidence keeps Devi on guard.

Created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher, Never Have I Ever first premiered in April 2020. The second season is set to premiere on Netflix in July 2021. – Rappler.com
