The XavMi romance is coming back to the screen in the film sequel to the hit BL web series Hello Stranger.
The teaser trailer to Hello Stranger: The Movie was released by production company Black Sheep on Friday, January 15, and it shows the continuing story of Xavier (Tony Labrusca) and Mico (JC Alcantara) – two students who got close virtually over the pandemic, before finally meeting face to face and confessing their love for each other.
The film picks up where the series left off, with Mico, Xavier, and the rest of their literature class heading to a resort for writing camp. There, the two get a chance to grow closer together in person.
Mico’s squad, “the young padawans” – which include Kookai (Vivoree Esclito), Seph (Patrick Quiroz), and Junjun (Miguel Almendras) – are returning in the film, as well as their literature professor Tina Moran (Meann Espinosa) and Xavier’s ex, Crystal (Gillian Vicencio).
The film also introduces new characters, played by Markus Paterson, Jin Macapagal, and Dionne Montsanto.
Dwein Baltazar, who made Gusto Kita With All My Hypothalamus and wrote Exes Baggage also directed the film, while the series’ director Petersen Vargas was a producer.
Hello Stranger: The Movie will be available to stream on February 12 via ktx.ph, iWantTFC, Sky Pay Per view, Cignal Pay Per View, and TFC IPTV. – Rappler.com
